Founder

Peter Ndungu Karanja

Peter Karanja is the visionary founder of Kilele Foundation and Director of Kilele Bookshop. A seasoned writer and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he also serves as the BOM Chair at Thogoto Primary School. Passionate about empowering young people, Peter combines his leadership skills and dedication to make a meaningful impact. As a devoted husband and father, he balances his professional achievements with a strong commitment to family and community, driving positive change through his diverse roles.

Co-Founder

Wairimu Gaitho

Wairimu Gaitho is the dedicated co-founder of Kilele Foundation, where she plays a pivotal role in empowering young people, especially vulnerable girls. As the Director of Elegant Beauty Hub, she combines her expertise as a skincare consultant and wellness enthusiast to promote holistic health and well-being. With a background in community development and sociology, Wairimu is passionate about mentorship, particularly in addressing teen pregnancy and providing sex health education. Her bold advocacy and commitment to improving lives make her a key figure in fostering positive change.

Our team includes skilled medics who provide essential health support, security teams ensuring safety, and ushers and events coordinators who manage our various programs with efficiency and care. United by a shared dedication to serving the community, these volunteers are integral to our mission, bringing their expertise and enthusiasm to support and uplift vulnerable youth across Kenya.

Mentorship Programs

Our mentorship programs are designed to guide and support young individuals in their personal and academic growth. Through one-on-one sessions and group activities, we aim to inspire confidence, provide guidance, and nurture the potential of each participant.

Education Support

Sanitary Pad Runs

Access to proper hygiene products is essential for the health and well-being of young girls. Our sanitary pad runs aim to provide menstrual hygiene products to girls in need, promoting their dignity, health, and confidence.

Sports Evangelism
